Fusing is the joining together of separate glasses through the application of heat within a kiln. Many people use the terms "fusing" and "kilnforming" interchangeably.
Kilnforming is the shaping of glass within a kiln, using heat and gravity, and methods include fusing, slumping, kilncasting and other techniques.
Works made using these techniques are called "kiln-glass."
The Glass Art Ireland is not generally open to the public at this time. You may make a private appointment to visit by contacting us. At present access is limited to two persons at any one time and COVID restrictions and requirements apply.

DO YOU HAVE SEASONAL SALES?
Yes, we have infrequent sales. Exact dates of these will be advertised near the time. Only selected lines will be available in the sale and, due to the exclusive nature of our ranges, we cannot guarantee that an item will still be available for purchase late in the season. We also have occasional exclusive promotions for those signed up to our newsletter. Be sure to sign up to our newsletter at the foot of this page to be notified of these.
